Will taking Epitome 25mg Tablet interfere with my valproic acid treatment? Can this combination be taken?
Epitome 25mg Tablet does not directly affect the working of Valproic Acid, but it does increase the risk of getting excess ammonia in your blood (Hyperammonemia). This can be dangerous and may cause difficulty with thinking, memory, or problem-solving. It might also decrease alertness and make you feel very tired or sleepy. Please talk to your doctor immediately if you notice any of these symptoms. It's important to know that Epitome 25mg Tablet alone can also cause Hyperammonemia.
Can Epitome 25mg Tablet be used for children?
Yes, Epitome 25mg Tablet is used to treat seizures in children over 2 years of age. However, due to lack of information, this medicine is not recommended for children with migraines.
