Enerobal 2500mcg Injection is a man-made form of vitamin B12 used to treat deficiency of vitamin B12 in the body. Enerobal 2500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

What is Enerobal 2500mcg Injection?
Enerobal 2500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient needed by the body to produce red blood cells and maintain a healthy nervous system. It also plays a role in releasing energy from food and utilizing vitamin B11 (folate).
Why can’t I get sufficient vitamin B12 from my diet?
Vitamin B12 is found naturally in various food sources such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. However, individuals who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet may face difficulties obtaining adequate Vitamin B12 as it is not naturally present in fruits, vegetables, and grains. This can lead to a vitamin B12 deficiency, commonly observed in vegetarians and vegans.
What happens if I have vitamin B12 deficiency?
Vitamin B12 deficiency may cause symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal type of red blood cells). Is Enerobal 2500mcg Injection safe?
Enerobal 2500mcg Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, rare side effects may occur such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash. Discontinue use of this medication immediately if a rash develops.
How should Enerobal 2500mcg Injection be administered?
Enerobal 2500mcg Injection can be injected either into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule containing 0.5 mg of Enerobal 2500mcg Injection, and it's administered 3 times per week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Enerobal 2500mcg Injection) is given every one to three months as part of ongoing maintenance therapy.
What precautions should be taken while administering Enerobal 2500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site repeatedly. If you experience intense pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert it at a different location.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
