Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used for contraception (to prevent pregnancy) and in the treatment of irregular periods. Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as per your doctor's advice. You will have to take the pill on day one of your menstrual cycle and continue taking it for a whole month. Once the pack gets over, start with a new one. If you experience vomiting within 4 hours of dose intake, take another tablet. In case you missed your dose and you are late by 12 hours in taking the missed dose, use a condom during intercourse for a period of 2 days.
Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet is an oral contraceptive pill. It works by preventing the release of egg (ovulation) and affecting sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy.

What if I forget to take Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. You can also take two tablets at once if needed, but be sure to follow the usual dosing schedule. However, missing doses may not provide full protection against pregnancy. In case of multiple missed doses, start taking the tablet as soon as you remember and use a non-hormonal method of contraception like condoms for at least 7 days to prevent pregnancy. If you consistently miss doses, you may experience unexpected vaginal bleeding or spotting (blood stains). Consult your doctor if this persists.
What if I vomit after taking Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet?
If you vomit within 3-4 hours of taking Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet, consider it a missed dose. Take another dose as soon as you feel well enough.
What are the common side effects of taking Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet?
You may experience irregular vaginal bleeding while taking Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet. Other possible side effects include headaches, nausea (feeling sick), acne, depression (feeling sad) and breast pain. Most of these side effects are temporary and will subside over time. If they persist, consult your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Desoeth 0.03mg/0.15mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol
