Darolac Capsule is a combination of probiotics and prebiotics used to treat diarrhea, infectious diarrhea, and antibiotics-associated diarrhea. Darolac Capsule may be taken with or without food. However, take it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor to get the most benefit. It is also advised to not stop taking this medicine until the doctor says otherwise. It is generally a safe medicine to take without any common side effects. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms on taking this medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help you by reducing the dose or changing the medicine. To make sure Darolac Capsule is safe for you, let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines. When prescribed for diarrhea due to antibiotics, it is advised to stop taking this medicine if you have a high fever or have had a fever for more than 2 days. Consult your doctor if such a condition arises.
Upon oral administration, the bacteria in Darolac Capsule help modulate the composition of the normal microflora and maintain adequate colonization of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Upon colonization of the GIT, the probiotic bacteria form a protective barrier that helps maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier. This barrier interferes with the attachment of pathogenic bacteria and other harmful substances, prevents inflammation, and improves gastrointestinal function.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Darolac Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
