Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Dapaformin 500 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Tips

• You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines (if prescribed) along with Dapaformin 500 Tablet.
• Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach.
• Dapaformin 500 Tablet can cause urinary tract infection. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and practice good genital hygiene.
• It may cause your body to lose too much fluid (dehydration) or you to urinate more often. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
• It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol, or if you delay or miss a meal. Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxious feeling.
