Daflon 1000mg Tablet is a combinational medicine used in the treatment of varicose veins and acute and chronic piles (hemorrhoids). Daflon 1000mg Tablet is a flavonoid that improves blood flow in the veins and restores its function. It is used in the treatment of varicose veins and acute and chronic piles (hemorrhoids).
Daflon 1000mg Tablet works by blocking the action of chemical messengers (prostaglandins, thromboxane A2) which cause inflammation (swelling) of the veins. This improves blood flow in the veins and restores normal vein function.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Daflon 1000mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Daflon 1000mg Tablet is prescribed to reduce swelling and restore normal vein function in patients with varicose veins.
- Do not take it for more than three months without medical supervision.
- Inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders as this medicine might make bleeding worse.
