It also changes the lining of the womb and renders it unsuitable for pregnancy.

Crisanta LS Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive medicine that contains two hormones, estrogen and progesterone. It is used to prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus to block sperm, and making the uterine lining unsuitable for implantation.
How should I take Crisanta LS Tablet?
Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. To ensure consistent levels of medication in your body, try to take it at the same time every day.
What if I forget to take Crisanta LS Tablet?
If you forget to take one tablet, take it as soon as you remember, even if it means taking two tablets at the same time. Then, follow your usual dosing schedule. However, if you miss two or more doses, start taking the tablet as soon as you remember and use a non-hormonal method of contraception like condoms for at least 7 days to prevent pregnancy. Missing doses frequently may lead to unexpected vaginal bleeding or spotting.
What should I do if I vomit after taking Crisanta LS Tablet?
If you vomit within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet, consider it a missed dose. Take another dose as soon as you feel well enough to do so.
What are the possible side effects I may experience while taking Crisanta LS Tablet?
Common side effects include irregular vaginal bleeding, headache, nausea (feeling sick), depression (sad mood), and breast pain. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult with your doctor.

- Do not use Crisanta LS Tablet if you are obese, over 35, smoke, on prolonged bed rest, or have a history of blood clots.
- Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, severe headache, or changes in vision.
- Stop taking Crisanta LS Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you notice your skin and whites of the eye turning yellow (jaundice), severe stomach pain, severe depression, or if you think you could be pregnant.
Alcohol
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Crisanta LS Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Crisanta LS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
