Coxlab 120mg Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine used for relieving moderate pain and swelling of joints associated with different forms of gout and arthritis. Coxlab 120mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that belongs to the class of COX-2 inhibitors. It is primarily used to alleviate moderate pain, redness, and swelling associated with various forms of gout and arthritis. This medication works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for pain and inflammation. While it may cause fewer stomach problems compared to other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen, it can still cause dizziness and fatigue. Patients are advised not to drive or engage in activities requiring concentration until they know how the medicine affects them. It is important to avoid alcohol while on this medication as it may cause excessive drowsiness. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended, especially during the first two weeks of treatment. Patients with a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease should inform their doctor. Long-term treatment may require regular blood tests to monitor liver function. Coxlab 120mg Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
