Ceeclo-MR Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in relieving muscular pain by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. Ceeclo-MR Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it. Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and dryness in the mouth. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.
Ceeclo-MR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Thiocolchicoside) and two pain relievers (Aceclofenac, Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Can the use of Ceeclo-MR Tablet be stopped when my pain is relieved?
Ceeclo-MR Tablet is typically used for short-term relief and can be discontinued when the pain subsides. However, continued use should be directed by a healthcare professional.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Ceeclo-MR Tablet?
Ceeclo-MR Tablet is not recommended for patients with known allergies to painkillers or any components of this medication. It should be avoided in individuals with a history of stomach ulcers, active or recurrent ulcer/bleeding. Additionally, its use is discouraged in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and underlying liver or kidney disease.
Can Ceeclo-MR Tablet be taken with vitamin B-complex?
Yes, Ceeclo-MR Tablet can be safely combined with vitamin B-complex preparations. Vitamin B-complex may help improve overall health and correct potential deficiencies that contribute to symptoms.
Can the use of Ceeclo-MR Tablet cause damage to kidneys?
Long-term use of Ceeclo-MR Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. Prostaglandins, a chemical produced by healthy kidneys for protection, are lowered when taking painkillers, which can increase the risk of kidney complications over time. Patients with pre-existing kidney disease should avoid this medication.
Will Ceeclo-MR Tablet be more effective if taken in higher doses?
Taking larger doses of Ceeclo-MR Tablet will not increase its effectiveness, but may lead to an increased likelihood of side effects. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a healthcare professional.
Can the use of Ceeclo-MR Tablet cause damage to liver?
Ceeclo-MR Tablet contains Paracetamol, known to potentially cause liver damage. It's especially important to avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it can further increase your risk of liver injury. Individuals with pre-existing liver disease should avoid this medicine and consult a doctor immediately if they notice any symptoms of liver issues, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, and abnormal liver enzyme levels.
