Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet is a dopamine agonist used to treat high levels of prolactin and stop breast milk production in cases of stillbirth, abortion, or miscarriage. Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet is a dopamine agonist used to treat conditions such as infertility or abnormal production of breast milk (galactorrhoea) caused due to excess production of a natural hormone called prolactin. It is also helpful in stopping breast milk production in cases of stillbirth, abortion, or miscarriage. The medicine should be taken with food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet works by decreasing the release of prolactin, a hormone that stimulates breast milk production. This stops the production of breast milk in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.

How should I take Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet?

What are the possible side effects of using Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet?
During the initial treatment period, you may experience a temporary decrease in blood pressure, leading to dizziness. To minimize this effect, change your position slowly when sitting, standing, or lying down during the first few days of treatment. Your doctor may also recommend monitoring your blood pressure regularly during this time. Common side effects include drowsiness, nausea, headache, dizziness, vertigo, stomach pain, indigestion, fatigue, and weakness; if any of these symptoms persist or bother you, consult your doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Alcohol

Breastfeed
Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Caberlactin 0.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
