Breasy-LS Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough with mucus, thinning mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, and providing relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Breasy-LS Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Breasy-LS Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin, which relieves cough with mucus.
What is Breasy-LS Syrup?
Breasy-LS Syrup is a combination medication containing Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used to treat coughs accompanied by mucus. Ambroxol helps break down mucus, making it easier to cough up, while Levosalbutamol relaxes airway muscles and widens airways. Guaifenesin reduces mucus stickiness and facilitates its removal from the airways.
Is it safe to use Breasy-LS Syrup?
Breasy-LS Syrup is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some individuals may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremors, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate. Breasy-LS Syrup is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients. Additionally, Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol should not be taken together.
