Bactomin 375 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, ear infections, and gonorrhea. Bactomin 375 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that helps the body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the urinary tract and ear (otitis media), as well as gonorrhea. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold or flu. The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. This medicine is generally regarded as safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding if prescribed by a doctor.
Bactomin 375 Tablet is a double ester of sulbactam plus ampicillin. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. It has enhanced activity against bacteria and less antibiotic resistance.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Bactomin 375 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Bactomin 375 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Breastfeed
Bactomin 375 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Bactomin 375 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
