Astacool Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used to treat allergic diseases of the eye, relieving redness and swelling, and providing temporary relief from burning and discomfort. Astacool Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. The most common side effects include pain, irritation, or stinging at the site of application, blurred vision, and photophobia. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.

How to properly use Astacool Eye Drop?
Before using Astacool Eye Drop, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent contamination. Ensure you do not touch the dropper tip. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Astacool Eye Drop. To administer the drop, tilt your head back, look upwards, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a pouch. Then, place one drop of Astacool Eye Drop into the pouch.
Can using Astacool Eye Drop cause temporary blurry vision?
Yes, Astacool Eye Drop may temporarily blur your vision. To minimize this effect, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery for a short period after using the product.
How to store and dispose of Astacool Eye Drop safely?
To maintain the efficacy and sterility of Astacool Eye Drop, keep it in its original packet or container with the cap tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions provided on the packaging or label. Dispose of any unused medicine responsibly; ensure it is not accessible to pets, children, or other individuals.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
- Astacool Eye Drop provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy.
- It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
- Wash your hands first before applying Astacool Eye Drop. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
- If you normally wear contact lenses, please wear your spectacles instead until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
