Amoxytill CV 625 LB Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. It also prevents diarrhea which may occur as side effect of this medicine.
Amoxytill CV 625 LB Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. This treats your infection but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Amoxytill CV 625 LB Tablet is considered harmful for patients with a history of allergic reactions to any penicillin. It is also avoided in patients with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice/liver dysfunction associated with the medicine.
What is the recommended timing for taking Amoxytill CV 625 LB Tablet?
Amoxytill CV 625 LB Tablet can be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the dose prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal or snack to reduce the possibility of getting an upset stomach. Many antibiotics can cause diarrhea. If diarrhea is severe or lasts for more than 2 or 3 days, call your doctor.
