Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR is a combination of two medicines that helps to control high blood pressure and heart rate, and is also used for heart-related chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, and chronic heart failure. Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure and heart rate. It is also used for heart-related chest pain (angina), abnormal heart rhythms and chronic (long-term) heart failure.
Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR is a combination of two medicines:
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause sudden increase in your blood pressure.
- Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR.
Breastfeed
Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Amlovas-M 5/50 Tablet PR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
