Addcefurox CV 500mg/125mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat bacterial infections. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time for better efficacy. Do not exceed the recommended dose as it may have harmful effects. Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better to avoid the infection coming back. Addcefurox CV 500mg/125mg Tablet is a combination of Cefuroxime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefuroxime prevents the formation of the bacterial protective covering essential for bacterial survival. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefuroxime, reducing resistance and enhancing Cefuroxime's activity against bacteria.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Addcefurox CV 500mg/125mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Breastfeed
Addcefurox CV 500mg/125mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
