3M Tegaderm HP 8526IN is a waterproof, sterile dressing that provides a barrier to external contaminants, allowing for continuous visibility of the I.V. insertion site and minimizing unnecessary dressing changes. 3M Tegaderm HP 8526IN is a transparent dressing that provides a waterproof, sterile barrier to external contaminants, including liquids, bacteria, and viruses. It is designed to cover and protect catheter sites, wounds, and skin graft donor sites, while also facilitating autolytic debridement and providing a moist environment for wound conditioning.
The transparent film provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage, allowing for a moist environment for wound conditioning and minimizing unnecessary dressing changes.
Use 3M Tegaderm HP 8526IN to cover and protect I.V. catheter sites, clean, closed surgical incisions, skin graft donor sites, skin tears and minor excisions, superficial partial thickness burns, stage I or II pressure ulcers, autolytic debridement, protective eyelid coverings, and post tattoo application and removal.
