Zoxikuf LS Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough with mucus, thinning mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, and providing relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Zoxikuf LS Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Zoxikuf LS Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin, which relieves cough with mucus.
What is Zoxikuf LS Syrup?
Zoxikuf LS Syrup contains Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used to treat cough with mucus. Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic agent, thinning and loosening phlegm for easier coughing. Levosalbutamol functions as a bronchodilator by relaxing airway muscles and widening the airways. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant, decreasing the stickiness of mucus to facilitate easy removal from the airways.
