Zinter Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. Zinter Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Zinter Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Terbutaline and Bromhexine which relieves cough. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator which relaxes muscles in your airways and widens the airways. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out. Together they make breathing easier.

Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of unused medication properly. Do not give this medicine to pets, children, or other people.
Will Zinter Syrup be more effective if taken in more than recommended doses?
No, exceeding the recommended dose is not advisable and may not increase efficacy. Taking higher doses may even lead to serious side effects and toxicity.
