Give Zeemol 250mg Suspension to your child with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. Your child should not take more than four doses of this medicine in 24 hours, so wait up to 6 hours between doses. Never give any other medicine formulation containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects.
Zeemol 250mg Suspension possesses analgesic (pain-reliever) and antipyretic (lowers body temperature) properties. It provides relief by blocking certain chemical messengers and pathways in the brain that send signals about pain and fever.

Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and frequency for use. This depends on the strength of the medication and the age of your child. You may also refer to the label or leaflet inside the packaging for specific directions before administration. The commonly recommended dose is 10-15 mg/kg per dose every 4 to 6 hours. If you are uncertain about the correct dosage, consult your child's doctor.
Zeemol 250mg Suspension generally starts working within 30 to 60 minutes of intake, with peak effect observed within 3 to 4 hours. You may notice some improvement in your child's condition after a few doses. If the pain or fever persists longer than expected, consult your child's doctor immediately.
If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Zeemol 250mg Suspension, administer the same dose again. If it has been more than 30 minutes after taking Zeemol 250mg Suspension and your child vomits, no need to repeat the dose and wait until it is time for the next dose. In case you are unsure, consult your doctor.
You can administer this medication if your child's temperature is 38.3°C (101°F) or higher. However, it is crucial to seek advice from your doctor before administering this medication.
If the fever doesn't decrease with initial doses, it may indicate an underlying infection (virus or bacteria). Consult your child's doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Only four doses of Zeemol 250mg Suspension should be administered in a 24-hour period. Ensure at least a 4-6 hour interval between each dose. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage for more than three days without consulting your doctor. Exceeding the recommended dose can lead to toxicity and potential liver or kidney damage, as Zeemol 250mg Suspension exceeds its maximum safe dosage per kg of body weight.
Unless your doctor advises otherwise, maintain a normal balanced diet for your child while continuing this medication. A lack of proper nutrition can negatively impact their overall health and increase the risk of medicinal toxicity.
Store this medication at room temperature in a dry, inaccessible location away from children.
Use of Zeemol 250mg Suspension requires caution when your child suffers from malnutrition, G6PD deficiency, liver disease, or any known medicinal allergies. Be sure to provide complete information about your child's medical history to their doctor, as this will allow them to decide whether administering the medication is safe for your child.
Zeemol 250mg Suspension generally does not interfere with vaccine ingredients or trigger adverse reactions in children who have recently received a vaccination. However, the best course of action is to allow your child to recover from any ongoing illness and complete their current medication before administering the vaccine.
