Zaclo-S Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
How to use Zaclo-S Ointment?
Apply a thin layer of Zaclo-S Ointment to the affected area(s) using sufficient quantity. For best results, apply it 2 or 3 times daily. Always wash your hands after applying Zaclo-S Ointment unless you're treating skin infections on the hands.
Can I stop using Zaclo-S Ointment when my symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop using Zaclo-S Ointment. Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Symptoms may improve before the disease is completely treated.
What are the precautions that need to be taken while using Zaclo-S Ointment?
Zaclo-S Ointment should not be used on the face. Do not use the medication for longer than the recommended period of time.
