Zaclo-S Ointment is a combination of medicines used to treat eczema and psoriasis, providing relief from redness, itching, and swelling, and removing dead skin cells and softening the skin. Zaclo-S Ointment should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Zaclo-S Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
How to use Zaclo-S Ointment?
Apply a thin layer of Zaclo-S Ointment to the affected area(s) using sufficient quantity. For best results, apply it 2 or 3 times daily. Always wash your hands after applying Zaclo-S Ointment unless you're treating skin infections on the hands.
Can I stop using Zaclo-S Ointment when my symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop using Zaclo-S Ointment. Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Symptoms may improve before the disease is completely treated.
