Waxiclin Ear Drop is a medication used to relieve pain and itching caused by certain ear conditions, such as middle ear inflammation with congestion and outer ear inflammation. Waxiclin Ear Drop is a combination medication containing Paradichlorobenzene, Benzocaine, Chlorbutol, and Turpentine oil. It helps to remove ear wax and numb the pain and itching associated with ear conditions. It is used to relieve symptoms such as pain, itching, and congestion in the ear.
The exact mechanism of action of Waxiclin Ear Drop is not fully understood. However, it is believed that the combination of ingredients helps to remove ear wax and numb the pain and itching associated with ear conditions.
To use Waxiclin Ear Drop, lay the patient on their side with the affected ear up. Instil 5-10 drops of the medication into the ear canal. Insert a cotton plug into the meatus and allow it to remain for 15-30 minutes. Clean the ear canal with a cotton swab and flush with lukewarm water. Repeat the procedure for one week.
