It is generally given along with other heart failure medications.
Vymada 200mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sacubitril and Valsartan which belong to a class of angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). This combination treats heart failure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body. In addition, it also helps your body retain less water.
Who should avoid taking Vymada 200mg Tablet?
Patients with a known allergy to Vymada 200mg Tablet's components, ACE inhibitors, or ARBs should avoid using this medicine. Additionally, it is not recommended to use Vymada 200mg Tablet with other antihypertensive medications like ACE inhibitors or ARBs. Patients should also avoid taking Vymada 200mg Tablet for at least 36 hours before or after taking an ACE inhibitor medicine. If you are unsure, consult your doctor.
What should I tell my doctor before taking Vymada 200mg Tablet?
It is essential to inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease, and a history of facial swelling (angioedema). Additionally, disclose any pregnancy or breastfeeding status. Also, provide a list of all medications you are currently taking, including potassium supplements or its medicine salt, painkillers, blood pressure or heart failure medications (such as ACE inhibitors, ARBs, or Aliskiren).
Can I use Vymada 200mg Tablet in pregnancy?

How would I know if I have high potassium levels?
Your doctor will regularly check your blood potassium levels to detect high potassium levels (hyperkalemia). It is crucial to attend all scheduled appointments with your doctor to monitor your potassium levels.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vymada 200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
