Vomilast Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat nausea or vomiting during pregnancy. Vomilast Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Vomilast Tablet is a combination of three medicines: doxylamine, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and folic acid, which treats nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vomilast Tablet is to be taken with food.
Alcohol
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Vomilast Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Vomilast Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Vomilast Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Pregnancy
Vomilast Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
