Vingose 0.2mg FlashTab is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus by controlling high blood sugar levels after meals. Vingose 0.2mg FlashTab should be taken just before a meal. The dose and frequency will be decided by your doctor to control your blood sugar levels. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may increase your blood sugar levels and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is part of a treatment program that includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medicine. Common side effects include flatulence (gas), stomach pain, loss of appetite, constipation, and diarrhea. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you or do not go away. This medicine does not cause hypoglycemia by itself but can lead to low blood sugar levels when used with other diabetes medicines. Treat hypoglycemia with plain glucose. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid excessive alcohol intake as it may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Vingose 0.2mg FlashTab is an anti-diabetic medicine. It inhibits the intestinal enzymes responsible for breaking complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose levels from rising very high immediately after meals.
