Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of bacterial infections targeting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen.
Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.
What if I accidentally give my child too much Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension?
An extra dose of Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension is unlikely to cause harm. However, if you suspect your child has received an overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Overdose may lead to adverse effects such as seizures, tremors, severe headache, sudden weakness, unconsciousness, and palpitations (irregular heartbeat). If you notice any of these symptoms, rush to your child's doctor for prompt evaluation and treatment.

- Discontinue Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing
- Only give Vilof 50mg Oral Suspension to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses
