Vemol Eye Drop is used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (high pressure inside the eye) in people with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. Vemol Eye Drop is a beta blocker that helps reduce the risk of vision loss in people with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. It lowers the pressure in the eye by decreasing the production of fluid. Always wash your hands before using Vemol Eye Drop. Use only the number of drops that your doctor has prescribed. If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before using the drops and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. If you are also using other eye medicines, wait for at least 10 minutes before using them.
Vemol Eye Drop is a beta blocker. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye) thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
What does Vemol Eye Drop do?
Vemol Eye Drop reduces intraocular pressure, helping to prevent optic nerve damage and maintain normal vision. Uncontrolled intraocular pressure can gradually lead to blindness. Vemol Eye Drop effectively controls ocular hypertension and certain types of glaucoma by reducing pressure within the eye.
How should you use Vemol Eye Drop?
Vemol Eye Drop is typically instilled once or twice daily at evenly spaced intervals until intraocular pressure is controlled (approximately 4 weeks). After this, it may be instilled once a day or as directed by the doctor. Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully and seek clarification if necessary.
Can I stop Vemol Eye Drop if I am fine now?
No, you should not discontinue using Vemol Eye Drop without first consulting your doctor. Stopping the medication abruptly may lead to uncontrolled intraocular pressure and an increased risk of vision loss.
When should I seek a doctor's advice?
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any eye infection, conjunctivitis, or eyelid reaction. Additionally, inform the doctor about any eye injuries or recent eye surgery. Consult your doctor regarding the continued use of Vemol Eye Drop.
Can I use Vemol Eye Drop with contact lenses?
No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling Vemol Eye Drop. You may reinsert your contact lens after 15 minutes following the application of Vemol Eye Drop. Contact your doctor if any eye irritation persists.
