V I-V3 Softgel Capsule is a combination medicine that treats various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. V I-V3 Softgel Capsule is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash it immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.
V I-V3 Softgel Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Clotrimazole. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth in the vaginal tract by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering. Together, they treat your vaginal infection effectively.
What if I don't get better after using V I-V3 Softgel Capsule?
If you do not experience improvement after completing the full course of treatment, contact your healthcare provider. Also, report any worsening symptoms during treatment.
Can I stop taking V I-V3 Softgel Capsule when I feel better?
No, you should not discontinue the medication before completing the full prescribed course. Symptoms may improve before complete resolution of the infection.
What are the instructions for storage and disposal of V I-V3 Softgel Capsule?
Store V I-V3 Softgel Capsules in their original container or packaging, securely closed. Follow the instructions provided on the product label regarding proper storage. Dispose of unused medication appropriately and ensure it is out of reach of pets, children, and other individuals.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry the area. Lie down and gently insert the suppository into the area with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. You or your care giver may be taught on how to use this medicine at home.
