Urixy-O Tablet effectively treats urinary tract infections by preventing the growth of microorganisms and relaxing internal muscles to control urgent or uncontrolled urges to urinate and infection-related pain and discomfort. Urixy-O Tablet is a prescription medicine that is advised to be taken as suggested by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Urixy-O Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Flavoxate. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Yes, Urixy-O Tablet may cause nausea and vomiting. To minimize nausea, take the medicine with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods with this medication. If you experience vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small, frequent sips. If vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored and strong-smelling urine, or a low frequency of urination, consult your doctor. Do not take any other medication without consulting your doctor.
