Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet effectively treats urinary tract infections by preventing the growth of microorganisms and relaxing the internal muscles to control urgent or uncontrolled urges to urinate and infection-related pain and discomfort. Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that is advised to be taken as suggested by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as an overdose of it may have harmful effects on your body.
Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Flavoxate which treats urinary tract infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Flavoxate is an anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent urgent or uncontrolled urination and relieves associated pain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- You have been prescribed Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet for the treatment of urinary tract infections.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Maintain good personal hygiene habits
- Urinate before and after sexual activity
- Drink plenty of water to help clear the bacteria from your body and always try to fully empty your bladder when you urinate.
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms.
- It may cause dizziness and blurring of vision. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
- Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma (a disease associated with increased eye pressure).

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Urislash 200mg/200mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
