What is Tuspel LS 1 Expectorant?
Tuspel LS 1 Expectorant is a combination of Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used to treat cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic, it thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) for easier coughing. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and widens airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant, which decreases the stickiness of mucus and helps remove it from the airways.
Is Tuspel LS 1 Expectorant safe to use?
Tuspel LS 1 Expectorant is generally safe for most patients. However, some may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramp, and increased heart rate.
