How it works

Torglip 50 Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Torglip 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Take it at the same time every day
• Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms

• Your doctor may check your kidney and liver function before starting treatment and regularly thereafter
• Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, fatigue, loss of appetite, darkened urine or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
