Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop is effective against a wide range of bacteria. It must be used only against susceptible bacteria. A list of bacteria that can be killed by Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop includes _Staphylococcus aureus_, _S. epidermidis_, some species of _Streptococci_, _Pseudomonas aeruginosa_, _Escherichia coli_, _Klebsiella pneumoniae_, _Enterobacter aerogenes_, _Proteus mirabilis_, _Morganella morganii_, most _Proteus vulgaris_ strains, _Haemophilus influenzae_, and _H. aegyptius_. How long should I use Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop?
Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment, which depends on the severity of your infection. For mild to moderate eye infections, your doctor may advise 1-2 drops four times a day. In severe infections, you may be prescribed 2 drops every hour. Never use more or less than prescribed by your doctor or use it more often than directed. Follow your doctor’s instructions for the exact duration of treatment.
How should Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop be used?
Before applying Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop, wash your hands thoroughly. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any part of your body. Tilt your head slightly and instill one drop. Close your eyes for 2 or 3 minutes with your head tilted down. Do not blink or squint. Gently press your finger to the inside corner of your eye for about 1 minute to keep the liquid from draining into your tear duct. If you use more than one drop, wait approximately 5 minutes before applying the next drop. Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye drops prescribed by your doctor.
What if I don't get better after using Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop?
If you do not experience improvement after completing the full course of treatment, inform your doctor immediately. If you notice worsening symptoms while using this medicine, inform your doctor as well.
Can I stop using Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop when I feel better?
No, do not discontinue using Tobrun 0.3% Eye Drop without consulting your doctor even if you start feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is fully cured. Therefore, continue with the prescribed treatment duration for complete and effective treatment.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
