What bacteria does Tobrag Eye Drop kill?
Tobrag Eye Drop is effective against a variety of bacteria. However, it's crucial to understand that Tobrag Eye Drop only works against susceptible bacteria. The following bacteria can be killed by Tobrag Eye Drop: S. Aureus and S. epidermidis, certain Streptococci species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus mirabilis, Morganella morganii, most Proteus vulgaris strains, Haemophilus influenza, and H. aegyptius, Moraxella lacunata, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, and some Neisseria species. Consult your doctor to determine the suitability of this medication for your specific condition.
How long should I use Tobrag Eye Drop?
Your doctor will determine the duration of treatment based on the severity of the infection. For example, if you have mild to moderate eye infection, your doctor might recommend using Tobrag Eye Drop 1-2 times daily for 4 hours. However, in severe cases, they may prescribe 2 drops every hour. Do not exceed or decrease the dosage prescribed by your doctor, and do not use the medication more frequently than directed.
How should Tobrag Eye Drop be used?
Always wash your hands before using Tobrag Eye Drops. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any other surfaces. Tilt your head slightly and instil one drop directly into your affected eye for 2-3 minutes with your head tilted down. Prevent blinking or squinting during this process. Gently press your finger against the inside corner of your eye for about 1 minute to prevent liquid from draining into the tear duct. If you use multiple drops, wait at least 5 minutes between each drop application. Wait at least 10 minutes before applying any other eye drops prescribed by your doctor.
