Oral intake of Terbisam 250mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with chronic or active liver disease. It's crucial to perform a liver function test to assess the liver's ability to metabolize the drug, as an inefficient liver could lead to elevated Terbisam levels, increasing side effects and toxicity. Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver disease or cirrhosis. Additionally, disclose any other medications you are currently taking as they may interact with Terbisam 250mg Tablet and potentially cause liver toxicity. Your doctor may suggest periodic monitoring (after 4-6 weeks of treatment) for the liver function test and adjust dosages accordingly.

The typical treatment duration is around 2-4 weeks for cases like Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), Tinea corporis (ringworm), and Tinea cruris (groin fungus). For nail infections, it can take anywhere from 6-12 weeks, with toenail infections needing about 6 weeks and fingernail infections lasting around 6 weeks. The exact treatment duration is determined by your doctor based on these factors.
