Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps to control high blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke. Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet contains two medicines that help to control high blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke in the future.
Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- You have been prescribed Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, very dry mouth or muscle weakness.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Use of Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet.
Breastfeed
Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy
Telma-CT 80/12.5 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
