Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps to control high blood pressure. Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is generally used when one medicine alone is not controlling the blood pressure effectively. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke in the future.
Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- It may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, very dry mouth or muscle weakness.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Use of Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe.

Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Telcure H 80 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
