Tadel 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Tadel 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Tadel 10mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Tadel 10mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Tadel 10mg Tablet affect fertility?
No, using Tadel 10mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no effect on fertility.
Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Tadel 10mg Tablet?
While moderate alcohol consumption may not cause significant discomfort, heavy drinking (5 units or more) can increase your risk of headaches, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and low blood pressure.
Does Tadel 10mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
No, Tadel 10mg Tablet is not known to affect ejaculation. It is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Tadel 10mg Tablet?
If you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden hearing loss or a ringing sensation in your ears accompanied by dizziness, consult your doctor immediately. You should also seek medical attention if you experience prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours or painful erections exceeding 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tadel 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Tadel 10mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Tadel 10mg Tablet.
