SZN 1000mg Tablet is used to treat various inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s disease. SZN 1000mg Tablet is to be taken with food to prevent an upset stomach. It should be taken regularly and at the same time each day for maximum benefit. Common side effects include nausea, headache, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Inform your doctor about any heart, kidney, or liver problems, and all other medications you are taking. Regular blood tests may be recommended to monitor kidney and liver functions, and blood components. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.
SZN 1000mg Tablet is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD). It works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system in autoimmune diseases and blocks the chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Take it with food.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with SZN 1000mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
SZN 1000mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
SZN 1000mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
