Suviray Injection is a human monoclonal antibody that works by binding to the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor and antagonizes CGRP receptor function. It is used in the preventive treatment of migraine in adults. It works by blocking the receptors for the protein CGRP, thought to play a major role in starting migraines.

Suviray Injection is a human monoclonal antibody that works by binding to the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor and antagonizes CGRP receptor function.

Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any sign of severe allergic reactions like rash or breathing difficulties. Monitor your blood pressure at home at regular intervals and inform your doctor if you experience a rise in your blood pressure. You can apply an ice pack on the injection site if you experience pain and redness. You may experience severe constipation after taking Suviray Injection. Inform your doctor who may prescribe medicines accordingly or discontinue this medicine in case of constipation with serious complications. Do not give Suviray Injection to anyone else even if they have the same symptoms that you have since it can harm them. Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack: have your meals at the same time every day, avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures, avoid loud music and noisy places, avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking, get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
