Silocap-D Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland, such as difficulty urinating or frequent urination. It is not used to prevent prostate cancer. Silocap-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Silodosin and Dutasteride, that work together to relieve symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Silodosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland, allowing for easier passage of urine. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that helps shrink the prostate gland by decreasing the level of the hormone responsible for its growth. Common side effects may include dizziness, blurring of vision, and sexual dysfunction. It is important to take this medication as prescribed by your doctor and to be aware of potential interactions and warnings.
