Dry Syrup
Sigcef O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections in children and adolescents, including typhoid fever. It contains two antibiotics, cefixime and ofloxacin, which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering and directly interacting with the genetic material of bacteria. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, the child's age, and body weight. It is essential to stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor. If the child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double dose if it's time for the next dose. Do not give this medicine to your child in case of cold and flu symptoms, as antibiotics are ineffective in killing viruses.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Sigcef O Dry Syrup is to be taken with food.
