Sez Forte 1gm Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infections caused by bacteria and parasites in various parts of the body. Sez Forte 1gm Tablet is used to treat infections of the liver, stomach, intestines, vagina, brain, heart, lungs, and skin. It is also used in the treatment of dental infections, leg ulcers, and pressure sores. This medicine may be taken with or without food, but it should be taken at the same time each day to get the most benefit. The dosage depends on the severity of the infection and should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects include gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, metallic taste, glossitis, and stomatitis. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies, kidney or liver problems, or nervous system diseases. This medicine should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by your doctor.
Sez Forte 1gm Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Sez Forte 1gm Tablet is to be taken with food.
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol while taking Sez Forte 1gm Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Breastfeed
Sez Forte 1gm Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Pregnancy
Sez Forte 1gm Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
