Scabelice Lotion is a combination medicine used to treat scabies and head lice. Scabelice Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Lindane and Cetrimide. It works by killing microorganisms that cause scabies and is also potent in paralyzing and killing lice and their eggs. It is used to treat scabies and head lice. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Apply only to the affected areas. Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include hair loss, rashes, drowsiness, headache, itching, and dry skin.

- Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
- Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
- You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this.
- Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
- Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment.
