Rudogest Tablet is used for the treatment of pelvic pain associated with endometriosis. It contains progestin, which works by suppressing the production of hormones causing endometriosis. Rudogest Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and frequency depend on your condition and your doctor's advice. Common side effects include acne, headache, depressed mood, breast discomfort, nausea, and ovarian cyst. It may also cause irregular menstrual cycles or spotting. Inform your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal or uterine bleeding or circulatory blood disorders. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding before starting the treatment.
Rudogest Tablet is a progestin (female hormone). It works by suppressing the production of estradiol, a hormone that causes excessive growth of the endometrium.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Rudogest Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Rudogest Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Rudogest Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Rudogest Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
