Roseday-F 20 Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Roseday-F 20 Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and Rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood while Rosuvastatin prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
Can Roseday-F 20 Tablet cause liver damage?
Roseday-F 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate, which can rarely cause liver damage in 1 in 10,000 patients. If you have underlying liver disease, use of this medicine should be avoided. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage, such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes.
