Rocort 6mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used for the treatment of various diseases and conditions such as inflammatory conditions and autoimmune conditions. Rocort 6mg Tablet is a corticosteroid. It increases the level of glucocorticoid in the body and works by decreasing the formation of substances that cause inflammation and suppresses immunity to stop self damage to the body by the immune system (auto-immune reactions occurring in organ transplants or cancer).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rocort 6mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Rocort 6mg Tablet with salad and vegetable diet.
- Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
- Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Rocort 6mg Tablet can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat.
- Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Rocort 6mg Tablet. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
- Do not stop taking Rocort 6mg Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Rocort 6mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Rocort 6mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
