Rocaltrol Capsule is the active form of vitamin D, used to treat calcium deficiency and metabolic bone disease by increasing calcium levels in the blood. Rocaltrol Capsule is a vitamin D analog that helps the body use more calcium from foods or supplements and regulates the body's production of parathyroid hormone. It is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium and bone disease in patients with kidney or parathyroid gland problems. It also increases muscle mass, prevents and treats hypocalcemia, and reduces fatigue and muscular pains. Consult your doctor if you plan to take any other form of vitamin D along with this medicine.
