It relieves the symptoms of migraine and prevents the attack from becoming worse. This medicine helps by narrowing the blood vessels, thereby relieving migraine headaches.
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Rizact 5 Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels thereby relieving the migraine headaches.
What information should I provide to my doctor before taking Rizact 5 Tablet?
Before taking Rizact 5 Tablet, inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, or a family history of heart disease. Additionally, disclose any smoking habits, menopausal status, or age-related factors. Also, let your doctor know if your headache is associated with dizziness, difficulty walking, lack of coordination, or weakness in the leg and arm. Furthermore, inform your doctor about any medications you are currently taking, particularly antidepressants like sertraline, escitalopram oxalate, fluoxetine, venlafaxine, or duloxetine. It is also essential to disclose any history of short-lived chest pain and tightness.

Can I take Rizact 5 Tablet with propranolol?
Yes, you can take propranolol and Rizact 5 Tablet together. However, since propranolol may increase the levels of Rizact 5 Tablet, take a 5 mg dose of Rizact 5 Tablet and not 10 mg.
