Rishiva-LS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which works by balancing the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Rishiva-LS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Common side effects include nausea, constipation, and dryness in mouth May cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when changing positions May cause dizziness and sleepiness May cause an increase in weight, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication as it may lower its efficacy.

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication as it may lower its efficacy. Maintain good oral hygiene to prevent dry mouth. Eat healthy, exercise regularly to manage weight, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Do not stop taking Rishiva-LS Tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause worsening of symptoms.
